When we planned the future of Insurance Design Administrators our aim was to develop a service firm that would be unique in American business today. We wanted to create a company dedicated to its clients, capable of responding quickly and appropriately to any situation.
To do that, we knew we had to structure a company that is lean and efficient, not one that is encumbered by layers of management and reams of bureaucratic red tape. We wanted a company where decisions could be made quickly and where new ideas would not only be encouraged, but embraced. Our combined years of business experience taught us that the last thing a business manager or owner wants to deal with is an impersonal, cumbersome institution. So we set out to build a better company, not an institution-a company where reaching the top man is as easy as picking up the telephone. We believe we have achieved our goals.
